Welcome Lakeside Alumni members and guests.

Lakeside Alumni Association was formed in June 2000 by a small group of Lakeside graduates. For the love of their school and the educational foundation provided them, they decided to create an association that would give back the school and its graduates. Their purpose was threefold: to develop a museum to archive and display the history of this school, to encourage fellowship among alumni by hosting a tailgate party at football homecoming each year and most importantly to provide scholarships for furthering the education of graduating seniors.

Lakeside Alumni Association started with only a handful of volunteers and has grown to over 300 members. In 2007, we developed this website to further enhance membership and fellowship opportunities. Thank you to our website sponsors for your continued support.

      

Through our member participation the Association has begun displaying memorabilia in the restored Historic Gymnasium Building. There are numerous donated items yet to be restored and preserved. We are hopeful to secure a permanent room for display of the many books, sports items, photographs and similar items for all to enjoy. The Association has been hosting an Annual Homecoming Tailgate party since October 2003. This is a great opportunity for all alumni and friends to gather and reminisce. We also encourage class reunions to join us at the tailgate for food, fun, and fellowship before the Friday night football game.

      

Since 2001, the Lakeside Alumni Association has awarded over $35,000 in scholarships. This has only been possible through the generous support of our members, friends and donors. To assist in funding of our scholarship fund, a Gold Brick Walk of History has been created and is located at the Historic Gymnasium Building. Please consider purchasing a brick engraved with your name, activity and year of graduation. It’s a wonderful way to leave your mark at your old Alma Mater, Lakeside School.
